UCC Postgraduate AIP Visa Process 2024
UCC has agreed with the New Delhi visa office that a student can submit a visa application with a UCC Conditional Offer letter (academic results only).
- Please note that this AIP process is for applicants with academic results only pending and due late July / August.
- The conditional offer letter must be for pending academic results only. All other conditions should be met, including English language requirements.
- The student has paid the minimum fees required by the visa office. https://www.dfa.ie/media/missions/india/visas/2023_Student-information-leaflet.pdf
The student applies, as normal, with a letter from the UCC clearly outlining that the offer is conditional on certain criteria (the criteria should be noted);
- The NDVO will assess all applications chronologically. If a conditional application passes all other assessment criterion, then it will be filed as Awaiting Unconditional Offer (AUO) and the applicant will be informed of this by email from a dedicated NDVO Study inbox.
- If the applicant fails the initial assessment the application will be refused (the applicant will be entitled to appeal or reapply);
- Once an approved applicant clears their conditions, UCC will send an unconditional offer letter to the NDVO Study inbox.
- Once the unconditional offer is received, the NDVO will approve the application and issue the visa.
- It is critical that the UCC offer letter is clearly marked as CONDITIONAL. Failure to clearly mark the offer as such will jeopardise the inclusion of the HEI in the conditional programme.
